Welcome!

I am in the final year of my MS program in the Business Administration Group in School of Economics and Management at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS).

I started in marketing, attracted to the complex methods like machine learning and big data, but found it lacked depth in organizational theory. I then moved into organizational behavior, which offered theoretical rigor, but often missed the precision of data analysis. Strategy, however, strikes the perfect balance between empirical analysis and theoretical expansion, combining both technically-interesting approaches and organizational understanding.

My research seeks to understand how companies can foster and maintain long-term knowledge-based innovation, what forces (such as cognitive networks, knowledge search, and knowledge recombination) bring underlying opportunities through which advances may deliver, and which strategies are effective for companies to derive competitive advantages from their knowledge assets (technology, human capital, and social capital).

I use a variety of methods including causal inferencenetwork analysis, online survey experiments, and machine learning.
